I have made all my kids' stockings for Christmas, so of course, I had to make my new baby's too. Laney's turned out really cute. I was totally surprised that I had enough motivation to do this before the baby is born. I am all ready for her to come before Christmas. Highly unlikely, but I can dream.
My girls are so cute. Megan always seems to have her thumb in her mouth. I browsed through many pics and almost all were thumbsucking ones. HA HA. Kenzie is getting so beautiful. I'm a lucky mom.
Megan was so happy to touch the tree. She kept laughing and giggling and pointing at the tree. It was cute.
I think this picture captured the pure joy of being a child. Kenzie was laughing at Megan when I snapped this. She is so adorable.
The kids wanted to pose in front of their tree. It is rare that I get a smile from Gavin. So I was happy that he was in to posing.

OH Christmas Tree!

We decided to get a real live tree this year. The kids and I went out hunting for one and we found the perfect tree. I love the smell of pine trees. We didn't manage to get very much decorating done, but we did get the lights up and the star. We all had a blast!

Ok, so Halloween 2008 was awesome. I had an adorable little ballerina. A dead ballerina(Kenzie's idea) and a Phantom of the Opera. Gavin begs to watch that movie all the time. So I think he really pulled it off well. The kids had so much fun eating candy and hanging out with their friends and cousins.
Our Super Hero friends, the Daniali's stopped by for some candy and pizza. I didn't know that Batman and Catwoman could have such a cute baby. Robin, the boy wonder, was ready for some villian-fighting action. I feel so safe in a community with real live superheroes!
Joe was a hillbilly for Halloween. He and his family came over for dinner and trick-or-treating. We all had a great time. Thanks for the laughs Joe.

Our Family Temple Trip

On Saturday, October 18, 2008 our family went to the Redlands temple to finally do the work for our deceased brother David. I can't describe the feeling of being in the temple with most of my family and knowing that David was receiving his endowment. We also did other family names. I got to do the work for my great-great grandma Rachel Passmore. Jared did her husband, which was cool. I felt the spirit witness to me that our family members were pleased with the work we were doing for them. I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that our family is eternal. And we will be reunited after death. I finally feel like David is at peace and we have done all we can do for him. That is a huge relief for us. Those pictured above are from left to right: Misty, Jon, Me, Dad, Mom, Joe and Melanie. Not pictured were Jared, Paul (Jared's Dad), Roxanne McGowen, and Nancy Stubbs.

This is our sad attempt at a family picture. As you can see, one kid had no interest in being in the picture. Another refused to give eye contact. He said something about how a picture can capture your soul. I don't know, it went over my head. Ha Ha. Anyways, it was cold, windy, and the kids were done by this time. Next time, family picture first.

Megan was the most adorable thing ever. She tried to put every pumpkin she could carry in our wagon. She was having the time of her life. No wonder I spend all day kissing and hugging this baby. She is a doll.

Gavin had so much fun at the pumpkin patch. He went on all kinds of rides, not to mention he did pick out a pumpkin. He wasn't in the mood for posing with his orange buddy. Oh well.

Grandma Mountains took us all to the pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago. This was just before we left. Aren't my girls so cute?

The cousins having fun together after bath time. They were lotioned, powdered, and smelling pretty. Kenzie loved being the little mommy. What fun!
Kenzie, Megan and Sarah had a blast in the bath on Saturday night. It's fun to have cousins close by to share your bath water with you.
Kenzie, Gavin and Megan at the ward Halloween party last Friday night. The girls looked
adorable as ballerinas and Gavin was super spooky as Count Dracula.
